Delete inside SideNote
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.
- Type “delete my account” and confirm permanent deletion.
What deletion does
Deletion revokes the active session and removes the profile, notes, library records, shelves, follows, circle memberships, quotes, responses, and other SideNote-owned account data. The action cannot be undone.
What may remain
Configured encrypted GitHub backup artifacts expire after 14 days; provider backups, logs, and historical exports have separate retention still being reconciled. Backups are not an individual account restore service. Limited security, moderation, or legal records may remain when reasonably necessary. If you cannot sign in, contact privacy@joinsidenote.com from the account email.
